This is a trend that has actually turned into a movement. More and more designers are supporting local brands and workshops that make their products right here in the good old USA. Many designers will use a piece or two that has been made by an artist or artisan as opposed to getting something that has been mass produced. It doesn’t matter if it is an upholstered chair, fabric on pillows that has been handwoven or just a piece of pottery. This unique items will make any space feel special. And of course there is the added bonus of supporting your local artisans.

Getting a natural area rug, such as one made from jute, sisal or seagrass can instantly make a huge impact on the room or space where you place it. These rugs come in a wide variety of colors, shapes and sizes. It is a great way to change the look and feel of a room quickly and easily.
