Nesting tips from hotels. I think I need a vacation, even if it is at home.

This makes me want to go to Paris. It also makes me want a hot chocolate and a croissant.

This makes me want to go to Paris with Holly. Then again, I would go pretty much anywhere with Holly. Of course.

And then I will stay in France forever because they iron everything, and you know how I feel about ironing. (I love it. Truly.)

Whoorl shares my obsession with navy and white stripes (which are very French). In fact, she wrote a poem about them. Love (Sarah and her poem).

This week, I reread E. M. Forster’s A Room With a View, and then watched the 1985 Merchant Ivory film adaptation (available on Netflix as a direct download) — both for probably the 100th time. Totally worth two hours — the book and the film.

At TLC’s Parentables, I wrote about what to carry on when you travel with kids. Because you never know who might throw up on you during the flight.
