I can see clearly now, thanks to Rivet & Sway

I am loving my new Rivet & Sway frames. They’re absolutely perfect! Which is good because I’m wearing them all the time.

I chose the Faster Pussycat, not because of the name  (although it’s hard to resist) but because they were exactly what I wanted: a little bit hip, a little bit feminine, and the perfect size for my wee tiny face. But the actual frames were just one small part of what I loved about ordering frames from Rivet & Sway. Every single person I talked with was knowledgeable and helpful, and they are all clearly committed to providing the best possible product. I love that.

Stella & Dot trunkshow: shop without leaving the sofa

It’s party time, people. And not just on your arm (although that’s a good place to start).

I’m hosting an online Stella & Dot trunk show — as much as I would like to invite you all to my house to play with the pretty, pretty jewels, it’s just not going to happen (because that would involve cleaning my house and you all, I do not have time for that). Instead, my fab Stella & Dot Star Stylist friend Laura has set up an online show for us, where you can get a head start on your holiday shopping without ever leaving the house (or putting on pants). It’s finally fall! Thank god. I’ve been waiting for this. Cold weather FTW!

I’m super ready for it not to be hot — I’m dying to wear my cashmere sweaters and skinny corduroys and snuggly scarves. Fall is the preppiest season of the year, after all, and there’s nothing a Preppy loves more than a cute pair of moccasins. Right now I’m totally in love with these adorable fringed Minnetonka Moccasins boots from Langston’s Western Wear.

I mean, seriously, how cute are these boots? The fringe! The silver detailing! And the butter soft suede. Looooove them.

I’m a big Minnetonka fan; their mocs are well made and super comfy. I wear mine without socks, of course, but I think these boots will also be fab with tights or wool socks. Although seriously you all, barefoot is like leaving the house in your slippers — but these are shoes. See! Fab.
