Hey, Internet. What’s up?
We’re having a funny burst of spring-like weather here (which probably means we’re thisclose to either a blizzard or a string of killer tornadoes) and I’m digging around in my closet to find fun, bright pieces. I’ve also done a little bit of shopping; the gingham shirt and polka dot sweater are from Old Navy, and the heart sweater is from Gap (but it’s not currently available online). I’m trying to bring a little more pattern into my closet, too, although I’m still pretty obsessed with polka dots and checks. Go figure.
How are you easing into spring? Or are you just waiting for the snow to melt? (Stay warm, East Coasters!!!)

I’m getting into spring colors. I bought gorgeous kelly green cardigan sweater to wear with my pink gingham shirt. Also got a kelly green fitted tshirt at Target that I wore with pink flats and my jeans. So, I think I’ve established that kelly green and bright pink are my spring essentials. In terms of patterns, I’ve started buying patterned light sweaters (instead of all solids like I have for the past 100 years). Gap had a really cute off white and navy stripe sweater that I get a lot of wear out of. And yes, I splurged a big $9.99 at, of all places, Aeropostle, on some navy stripped flats with teal trim. !!! They are too adorable and look great with my current obsession of navy stripped tops.
Next plan: Swimsuit. I’d like to do a “one-shoulder” type suit this year. Not seeing a lot out there. May need to order something online.
Oh so cute!! We’re staying warm in MA but with 16 inches if new snow we’ll be lucky to be wearing spring clothes at Easter. Loving the stripes & denim shirts.
Easing into spring by trying to replace what’s worn out! Off topic a bit, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share some recommendations for undies! I have been searching for the perfect simple cotton pair, and am convinced they don’t exist. I thought I had a winner with Gap hipsters, but they don’t stay up! Help!!
Loving the polka dots this season…A nice compliment to all the stripes and plaids I have been wearing. Think I need to head over to Old Navy this weekend.
Those outfits are adorable!! I love the sweater & button down look on others, but I’ve never been brave enough to try it out myself. I’m probably going shopping this week, so we’ll see if I can be brave and daring this spring and summer with my wardrobe! I’ll be checking here for inspiration
