It’s finally fall! Thank god. I’ve been waiting for this. Cold weather FTW!

I’m super ready for it not to be hot — I’m dying to wear my cashmere sweaters and skinny corduroys and snuggly scarves. Fall is the preppiest season of the year, after all, and there’s nothing a Preppy loves more than a cute pair of moccasins. Right now I’m totally in love with these adorable fringed Minnetonka Moccasins boots from Langston’s Western Wear.

I mean, seriously, how cute are these boots? The fringe! The silver detailing! And the butter soft suede. Looooove them.

I’m a big Minnetonka fan; their mocs are well made and super comfy. I wear mine without socks, of course, but I think these boots will also be fab with tights or wool socks. Although seriously you all, barefoot is like leaving the house in your slippers — but these are shoes. See! Fab.

I have a long list of ideas for ways to style these mocs; over the next week, I’ll be experimenting with some of my favorite options — the possibilities are virtually endless, you all. I’ll be posting all my looks on Instagram and on Facebook, for your viewing pleasure.

  45. I would love to win any moccasins that Minnetonka Moccasins makes. I bought a pair for my dad and he said the y were the only thing he could wear that kept his feet warm and comfortable. He wore them every wear. ( his cancer treatments made him cold ex-specially his feet)

I recently suggested them to my daughter and she started looking. She can’t decide between the calf-high ones or the ankle high ones. I’ll probably end up buying both.

  98. I am loving the Minnetonka Women’s Thunderbird Suede Boat Sole Moccasin – Brown , if I win, I would give them to my mom.. 2012 has not been a good year for my mom. In May, she was told she has AMD, she is totally blind in her right eye and only has 20/40 in her left and it is going quick. July she was told she had a mass in her colon and that it was cancerous.   124. Smooth leather moc, in sand or red. Most ballet flats are uncomfortable for me and these could be a cute alternative!

  125. Man, I haven’t been a fringe fan since I was litte, but damned if those Double Leather Bottom Knee Hi Fringe Boots aren’t the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while. They’d be great with jeans and a henley or a skirt and a pesant blouse (I live in the west, and feel like it’s never truly out of style here, the same way prepster never really goes away in the East).
