30 days of #getdressed: DONE! (but don’t stop)

So hey, today is Day 31 of 30 days of #getdressed. I know! How did that happen??? And wasn’t that fun?!?

#getdressedDressed, but not wearing a bra. Pretty sure this was the low point of the last month.

Now that we’re in the throes of summer, there are more and more days where I don’t put real clothes on until well after lunch (and by that I mean, right before dinner). I spend a lot of my day in my swimsuit, which is an awesome thing to be able to say out loud. And when I do get dressed, I wear the same things over and over. As you can see from the photos! Yay!

So how did your 30 Days of Getting Dressed go? Are you exhausted or inspired? And who’s up for 30 Days of Accessories???

I knew you’d say yes.

  1. I wonder if anyone else is like me… I find it is SO much easier to look put-together in the summertime. A simple dress, a pair of sandals and a pretty necklace and boom! You’re dressed! Maybe because it’s hot I feel like the expectation of fabulous layers and perfect pairings is lower. I always feel more wardrobe-challenged when the temperature drops.

    • I can see that. I wind up wearing the same things over and over once it’s cooler, whereas my summer wardrobe is a lot more versatile. But if Oklahoma has another winter like we just had, I will try to stretch my summer clothes a lot longer.

    • I totally agree. It’s almost impossible to look chic and stylish in MN in the winter. Last winter was an exception, only b/c it was so mild there was next to no snow and very few truly cold temps. I hardly wore my giant parka and big snow boots. But in summer? Sundresses and sandals, easy and pretty.

  2. When I see someone wearing bright stripes or polka dots, I think there is a happy person. You must admit you have lots of great color in your month:)

  3. I’m starting the #getdressed before noon for the kids this summer! It really helps keep us on track and motivated. Once we get in sleep in-lounge mode it is hard to get out of it. Thanks for the challenge:))
