I’m a t-shirt girl; when I’m looking for something to wear in the morning, I almost always gravitate toward my t-shirt drawer. Tees are comfortable and easy to wear — but that doesn’t mean I’m willing to default to any old boring crewneck. I’m all about beautiful, quirky tees that I can pair with other upscale pieces, like a fun skirt or some great trousers.

StyleMint is the brainchild of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who people my age remember as the cutie patootie twins from Full House. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill tees; the designs are quirky and fun, and the fabrics are soft and wearable. The details are also super fun; I was completely smitten by the sharkbite hem on the Charlton. I love that I can tuck it in for one look or leave it out over a skirt or pants for a completely different look. It’s like two tees in one!

I also ordered the Wilshire in “party pink” — how can you resist that? SO pretty. And the tie detail on the sleeves makes this more fun than your basic scoop neck tee.

Of course, I can never resist a striped tee — the Broadway is a great basic in a lovely color. It’s a nice alternative to my usual navy stripe and is already one of my fave pieces.

  12. Oh, man! You totally sold me on the Charlton. I’d been telling myself I was not going to do the whole polka dot thing, but the shape of that shirt really updates the pattern for me. Argh- it looks like it might be out-of-stock in my size, nooooo!

  22. So love Charlton. I was hesitated on the shirt as I was afraid it would enlarge my appreance. But you convinced me. Definitely love your complete look of blue Broadway! Btw was it Lucky Charms necklace with your Broadway?

  27. The Brooklyn Floral looks like a fun T to dress up a casual outfit. A perfect T for spring and summer. I can see it with jeans, my Cafe Capri or Minnie pants from J Crew, or tucked in a skirt. So many outfits!

  68. Super cute selection of tee shirts! The quiz selected the Brooklyn Floral for me, but I really love the Wilshire…the details on the sleeves and the sleeve length are just perfect for spring, and I love the party pink!
